Role
I worked closely with product managers, developers, and users to create a user-centered experience. I participated in user interviews to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement. My role involved mapping out user journeys, designing intuitive workflows, and testing prototypes with users to refine interactions. I also collaborated with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation, addressing any technical constraints without compromising the user experience.
The Design
Brief: The task was to design a B2B white-label sofware for ciber security.
At Defentry.com, my experience was dynamic and multifaceted, as I contributed to designing the website, collaborating on the app, and building a scalable design system that became the foundation for consistent and efficient product development.
The development
Collaborate in an agile, cross-functional team environment to ship new features.Creating the design system was a crucial aspect of my work at Defentry.com. I began by auditing existing design assets and identifying inconsistencies across the product ecosystem. I then created a cohesive style guide that included typography, color schemes, iconography, and reusable components. The design system was built to scale, with clear documentation to guide designers and developers in its usage.

The design system
Research: I started by gathering insights about the brand, users, and stakeholders. I conducted interviews with the product team to understand the goals and functionalities needed. Defining the Foundation: I began with the fundamentals, such as defining the color palette, typography, and spacing system. These elements were selected to reflect Defentry’s brand values. Components: I then created reusable components like buttons, inputs, cards, and navigation elements. These components were designed in Figma, leveraging auto-layout and variants for flexibility. Documentation: To make the system usable for developers and other designers, I created detailed documentation.
Collaboration
Collaboration with Developers: I worked closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation. This involved creating tokens for spacing, colors, and typography and exporting components to be integrated into frameworks like React. Testing: Once the initial design system was built, I gathered feedback from stakeholders and users through usability testing. Maintenance: I set up a versioning system and guidelines for maintaining and scaling the design system as the product evolved. This included processes for adding new components and updating existing ones without disrupting the platform's overall consistency. Through this process, the design system became a living asset that ensured visual and functional coherence while improving efficiency for designers and developers alike.
